Broonk Gant - Dark Souls 1 Player Character Illustration

Broonk Gant is the descendant of Boonk the First, whom I also made a portrait of. Broonk is a paladin, a defender of light, whose weapon of choice is the great Grant. While Boonk the First was more of a chaotic fighter, Broonk is a more strategic and learned warrior with a tendency to praise the sun—a soldier of all that is golden. His hollow form haunts him, ever eager to take over, but is often denied. The gilded border includes some references and symbolism: the lower left and upper right are references to the rings that Broonk wears. The main one is the ring of steel protection, and there is also Havel's ring.
